The East Wetzel Trail is a short but well used trail by the locals.  It is popular for community walks, to get around town, and to the high school.   The trail goes through the downtown and neighbors the high school and the library.  It has several benches and a weather shelter with history of the B&O Railroad.  Local volunteers maintain the trail.

The town was named for the fact that local resident Henry “Old Hundred” Church was a centenarian.  Hundred is the only place in the United States with this name.
